Residential/Commercial
A small piece of a large historic center is relocated with special architectural sensitivity. The inner courtyard overlooks modern housing solutions while the old façade on Vittorio Emanuele II Street is restored, regaining its original layout: residences on the raised floors; offices and stores on the ground floor, where stores once opened their doors.
Multipurpose Center
By preserving the prominent historic façade on St. Gotthard Street, the intervention made it possible to build new spaces for citizens’ health.In fact, the multipurpose center for cancer care and prevention, called “Borgo Antico,” is located here. The historic lines of the facade thus coexist with the modern sanitary efficiency of the interior.
Don Milani Middle School
