San Lorenzo Residence

The intervention concerns the renovation of the building enclosing a historic block in Bergamo’s “Città Alta.” After an initial phase of building consolidation, two basement floors were excavated and used as garages with the creation of driveway entrances. On the upper floors, all the typical peculiarities of this historic building have been preserved, such as the stone materials outlining the windows, the pietra serena columns, and the vaults with their frescoes. High-quality representative apartments have been carved out of its interior.
