Kindergarten
The kindergarten consists of several building bodies, with precise educational functions, connected to each other by the long distributive corridor. The building bodies are characterized by a single-pitch roof, which articulates the fronts of the school. The buildings are set in a large garden with walkways and children’s games.
Elementary School
The site involved the renovation and expansion of the old school building. The old school was modernized without altering the architectural aesthetics. The new body, separate but well connected to the existing one, was built with a completely up-to-date architectural language that fits in well with the surrounding green surroundings.
Eugenio Montale Middle School
The building used as a middle school presents itself as a public landmark facility for the neighborhood. The school, which is equipped with a gymnasium, laboratories and outdoor playgrounds, provides a single entrance from which there is access to the building’s various functions, which are thus usable from the outside.

As part of a larger plan for urban rehabilitation, the renovation of the historic farmstead keeps the existing volumes and their geometry intact: the buildings are demolished and rebuilt along the same lines, ensuring their structural modernity. Two pitched fronts contain the central balcony, declining the typical construction grammar of the Lombard farmhouse.
